Dear Sierra,
One of the best ways to amp up your look is with some fabulous headgear! Now I know the word “headgear” can conjure up flashbacks to middle school of those awful, awkward contraptions that gave us our gorgeous smiles today. But I’m talking about the other kind of headgear: headbands!
Yep, headbands are my favorite way to take your locks from blah to awe! Whether you add a bedazzled band to your updo for a formal look, or toss on a ring of daisies to channel your inner flower child, accessorizing your hair hasn’t been this stylish since the height of the scrunchie era! (Speaking of scrunchies, who will be the first to tell the US gymnasts that the scrunchie went extinct in 1998? Sorry, but so true.)
Just remember, when rocking your headband, make sure to keep the rest of your accessories subtle. Stick with stud earrings and petite necklaces to make your hair the “mane” attraction! Here are some of my favorite picks for pretty hair pieces to make your locks pop!
