How to Stick to Your New Year’s Resolutions

Nearly everyone makes resolutions to reach personal goals in the new year. But, more often than not, these goals often fall by the wayside and aren’t fulfilled. Well, it’s time for a change. Let 2013 be the year you finally stick to your resolutions. Here’s how:
Remind yourself of your goals: Write your goals down on Post-It notes and stick ‘em to your bathroom mirror. Every morning when you brush your teeth, you’ll start your day off thinking about your goals and why they are important. This daily reminder will help to keep your resolutions a priority throughout the year.
Make a “do it!” diary: Create a diary for your goals. First, write down your overall goals for the year. Then, every Sunday, write down three things you will do that week to help you get closer to achieving your goals. Doing a little bit each week will make a big difference over the course of a year.
Make time for “me time”: Look at your schedule now, and carve out at least one hour each week that you will dedicate to working toward your resolutions. Make sure you keep the day and time the same for each week so your efforts become part of your weekly routine.
