    Bub City Breakfast

    Fill up before you party down. Before their St. Patty’s Day celebration, Bub City will offer an Irish breakfast as well as some new brunch offerings.

    Wake & Shake

    Sat. Mar. 16, 8 a.m.-noon
    Public House, 400 N. State St.

    Rise and shine! Public House will host an exclusive party on Saturday morning (green beer included). Didn’t get tickets this time? The party continues for the public after noon, with drink specials all day.

    Get Lucky: Half Marathon and 7k

    Sat. Mar. 16, 9 a.m.
    Soldier Field, 1410 Museum Campus Drive

    Start St. Patrick’s Day weekend on the right foot. Literally. Choose from a 7k or a triple 7k (aka: a half marathon) in this festive race.

    St. Patrick’s Day Cruise

    Sat. Mar. 16, 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.
    Depart from Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand Ave.

    Cruise the beautiful (green) Chicago River on a 90-minute open air cruise. Tickets include an Irish-inspired buffet and cash bar.

    St. Patrick’s Day Festival

    Sat. Mar. 16, 1-10 p.m.
    Irish American Heritage Center, 4626 N. Knox Ave.

    This family-friendly event features traditional Irish music, food, crafts, and more (yes, there’s beer!).

    Hopleaf Beer School

    Tues. Mar. 19, 7 p.m.
    Hopleaf Bar, 5148 N. Clark St.

    Education never tasted so good! Hopleaf kicks off a monthly class series all about beer. The first session includes tidbits on beer history, how to pair beer with food, and of course, a few samples.
