Alyse Levine M.S., R.D. is a registered dietitian (RD) with a masters in clinical nutrition who is “Changing the Way America Eats – One Bite at a Time.” For over a decade, Alyse has been deciphering the facts from the myths among the current controversial topics in nutrition and general health. Her practical, realistic and simple lifestyle advice is easy to follow and keeps people on track – thus preventing nutrition related diseases. In both her private practice and in her media work, Alyse gently communicates the best ways for all Americans to keep their families healthy.

Alyse is the founder of NutritionBite LLC, a nutrition consulting practice based in Los Angeles.

Alyse provides private, individualized nutrition counseling to promote general wellness and treat a wide range of nutrition-related diseases. Alyse’s philosophy is based around eating CLEAN - Choose a variety of healthy foods, Limit portions, Eat slowly,Assess your hunger, No deprivation.

Alyse has appeared as an expert nutritionist on Good Morning America, and was the exclusive nutritionist for Discovery Health’s “National Body Challenge 2008″ and “National Body Challenge 2009″. She has also appeared as a guest expert on Los Angeles local television and was the nutritionist for the “Sam the Cooking Guy” pilot for Discovery Health (televised October 2007). Additionally, she created exclusive nutrition content for future “Sam the Cooking Guy” episodes.

Alyse has also been featured in numerous publications as an expert nutritionist including Shape, Health, Prevention, Self, In Touch, Marie Claire, Weight Watchers Magazine, Maxim, Bel-Air View and Polo.com.

Alyse has provided private nutrition lectures and contract services to groups including Nike, popchips, Western Pistachio Association, Smart Balance, Arrowhead Water, Subway, RYKA Fitness Apparel, Jack Rabbit Fitness, Discovery Communications, Phase IV Scientific Health and Performance Center, and clinics at NYU and Mount Sinai hospitals. Alyse was also an adjunct nutrition professor at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles.

Alyse received a BA and graduated summa cum laude from The University of Pennsylvania, with a major in economics and a minor in nutrition. After completing a combined Masters/Dietetic Internship program at New York University and The Bronx Veterans Affairs Medical Center,

Alyse became a registered dietitian and received her Masters in clinical nutrition. Alyse is a member of the American Dietetic Association; the Greater Los Angeles Dietetic Association; the Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutritionists Dietetic Practice Group; and the Nutrition Entrepreneurs Dietetics Practice Group.
